Avaron is a Paradise Wolf, born completely blind. She was one of the last Paradise Wolves born in Tamriel, south of Elanti, and eventually became the last when her mother was hunted down, and her father refused to eat from depression, dying from hunger. Once she reached adolescence, she left to live with her own kind. However, upon jumping aboard a ship that was headed for another country, she was caught in a storm and the ship smashed into a rock. Avaron managed to escape before the ship completely sunk, and made her way to an island in the distance- Elanti.
From there, she made her residence in the rainforest. Still without any sign of another Paradise Wolf, she hopes that one day she will be able to see another of her own kind, and constantly worries and think that there is the possibility that she is the last Paradise Wolf alive. Avaron's voice is very beautiful and gentle, and is often found singing songs and tales of Tamriel.
Avaron has excellent hearing, due to her lack of eyesight and large ears. Her ears naturally fall back on her head so she doesn't tear her ears while navigating the jungle floor. Because she is very small- only about 3 feet high and 5 feet from nose to tail- she is very quick and light on her feet. Her teeth naturally secret a light poison that causes disorientation and sluggishness in order to protect herself and take down larger prey. However, this poison also effects other wolves- the only ones immune to this being other Paradise Wolves. She has no fur whatsoever, only feathers.
She is quite peaceful and kind, but very cautious due to her lack of sight. She loves to play, as long as the rules and the situation is fair for her. Her glowing markings attract insects that she eats, besides the roots, fruits, fish and small animals she may also feast on. Her markings, as well as her eyes, glow in the dark, but are pale in the day. Also, her markings can also mesmerise and hypnotise anyone who looks directly at them, allowing her to attack (which she rarely does) or escape. In order to do this, she opens her feathers, reminiscent of a peacock.
